Schwarzkopf Blonde Toner vs Manic Panic Virgin Snow

Hello everyone! Hope your April is going well, mine is going very fast!

Today's post is going to be a comparison video between two blonde (purple) toners.

The first toner I will speak of is one I have been using for about 3 years ( on and of as I have been red, purple and brown in those 3 years as well as blonde).

Is it the Schwarzkopf blonde toner which looks like this,

This toner is amazing to say the least! What I do is shampoo my hair with whatever shampoo is in the shower, then put quite a generous amount in my hands and lather it all up into my hair, and leave for around 2-5 minutes depending. This product saved my hair when I bleached it back to blonde (TWO TIMES IN ONE DAY!), taking out all the brassy tones and making it well decent again. It is honestly incredible and leaves your hair soft and not yellow or gold!!!
There are a few tiny down sides to this product and that is the smell which is really strange, not bad, but strange and if you leave it on for too long it will turn your roots purple. But oh well sometimes lavender hair looks cool :) It retails at $7.99 and wow you are getting far more than you pay for with this product! <3

Hair after toning with Schwarzkopf blonde toner

The next toner I want to discuss is the Manic Panic White Toner in Virgin Snow. Now I have to admit I have only used this product once and compared to the Schwarzkopf blonde toner I am not too keen on it. It looks like this:

Firstly the colours are very different. The Schwarzkopf blonde toner is a much darker purple and of a much more thick consistency. The Manic Panic is a light lavender colour and very runny, however very moisturizing, where as the Schwarzkopf blonde toner without conditioning after is quite drying and leaves the hair feeling coarse. This toner you must leave in for around 30 minutes after shampooing to see any results, well on my hair anyway, and the results were pretty average compared to that of the Schwarzkopf blonde toner. Manic Panic has a nice smell, almost no smell really. The pros of this product is its silky consistency and feeling on the hair and its smell, however, its cons are its lack of actual toning!
This retails at $22.99, quite a lot more than the Schwarzkopf blonde toner and I would most likely not purchase this again as I have found a much better cheaper alternative.

Hope this was helpful :)
Until next time,

Maddi xoxo
